You finally answered me....
Checked to see how I was,
When all along,
I was right outside your doorstep,
Rain or shine I'd be there.

I was lucky,
When you had opened the door,
And let me in.
I had once again seen the warmness in your eyes,
That made me fall in love with you in the first place.

Silent,
Without saying a word,
Just standing in front of you was already a dream in itself.
I didn't want it to end,
All I could do was smile and utter to myself,
How much I cared for you.
As always,
Unable to muster the courage to let you know.

No words were needed,
I just wish....
You'd let me into your heart,
Into your world,
Just as you had let me into your door.
I have no need to invite you to mine,
For every moment
Traces of you can be found strung across my mind.

You're yet to see in my eyes,
What I had seen in yours,
Through hopes and dreams
All creation was possible.
And though it saddens me that you have gone away,
I feel that you're still with me.
For I have counted the seconds, hours and days,
I've waited this long,
Why can't I hold on just a bit longer?

There's a moment that can't seem to leave my mind....
I'm not sure as to whether it was love at first sight,
Or just a childish crush.
That moment,
Was the day we met.

I had seen something,
Felt it.
A deepness I cannot even begin to describe,
